Serdar Yurtcicek毕业于土耳其Anadolu大学国际关系专业,荣获“高尚荣誉”奖项(本科,Yüksek Onur ödülü)。其后在浙江大学攻读国际事务与全球治理专业并获得硕士学位。继而在对外经济贸易大学完成国际关系专业的博士学位。研究重点为20世纪的土耳其-中国外交与政策以及21世纪土耳其-中国关系对中亚的影响。同时,对于国家、微观民族主义及区域安全等领域亦有深厚兴趣。2023年9月至2025年8月在上海大学文学院世界史博士后流动站从事博士后研究。
Serdar Yurtcicek graduated from Anadolu University in Türkiye with a degree in International Relations, and was distinguished with the "High Honors" award (Bachelor's Degree, Yüksek Onur ödülü). Subsequently, pursued a Master's Degree in International Affairs and Global Governance from Zhejiang University. Thereafter, completed a Ph.D. in International Relations from the University of International Business and Economics. The research focus encompasses 20th-century Turkish-Chinese diplomacy and policies as well as the impact of Turkish-Chinese relations in the 21st century on Central Asia. Additionally, possesses profound interest in the areas of statehood, micro-nationalism, and regional security. From September 2023 to August 2025, engaged in postdoctoral research at the School of Humanities, Shanghai University's World History Institution.
